Well now, this is a tough one to judge. On the one hand we must remember that we are talking about a cute kitten, and not a fully grown and house-trained cat. And if the situation were to include a hooman baby rather than a feline one, then there is a good chance that allowances would be made. However, if you are purrhaps not quite as cat inclined as many of us are then it is not too hard to see how this would be an upsetting event, especially if you had just returned home after being away for months and simply wanted some peace and quiet.
